meet Chad

Chad Smith grew up in a family of real estate pros and learned many things about the real estate business at an early age. He spent a lot of time as a teenager in the office working for his grandparents who owned a successful real estate firm in South Mississippi for over 30 years.

In 2000, Chad moved to the Nashville area to attend MTSU in Murfreesboro while simultaneously working as a courier for Federal Express. Chad currently holds a bachelor's degree in Recording Industry Management and a minor in Business Administration.

You may have read about Chad or seen him in The Tennessean, HomeFinder or in Homes Galore magazine, as he is often interviewed and featured as a local real estate expert in the Nashville area. As a full-time Realtor serving the Nashville area, Chad Smith is dedicated to helping buyers, sellers and investors achieve their real estate goals. His belief is that integrity, experience and current market knowledge are crucial in protecting today’s homebuyers and sellers.

Chad’s extensive training in real estate law, appraisal, financing, communication and marketing is put to the test everyday and he states, “I couldn't be happier with what I do.” Chad holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which is the pseudo Phd of residential real estate. The CRS is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS designation recognizes professional accomplishments in high-volume sales, experience and education. Chad is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Tennessee association of Realtors and the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.

In his spare time, Chad enjoys writing and recording music, being geeky with technology, cooking, working out, riding street bikes and spending time with friends. Chad also serves on several real estate committees and local non-profit committees where he can give back to the Nashville community.
